Taste Petaluma is a family of craft businesses rooted in the same small Northern California town. We grow grapes and make wine at Barber Cellars. We serve tastings and sell cheese at Petaluma Cheese Shop. We distill spirits at Barber Lee Spirits. And when the evening calls for something sweet, Night Cap Dessert Bar pairs handmade desserts with cocktails built to finish the night. Separately, each one is a labor of love. Together, they're a single table — one worth traveling for, and one well known by the people who live here already.
Barber Cellars Wine
A small-production winery making classic wines that reflect the complexities of the land they come from. Estate-grown, organically farmed, minimally handled, built to drink with dinner, family, and friends. In the tasting room you can enjoy a tasting flight, share a bottle, or just sip on a glass. Then fall in love with a bottle and take it home.
Barber Lee Spirits
This award winning, grain to glass distillery crafts rare and hard-to-make spirits meticulously fermented, distilled, aged in oak barrels, and bottled on-site in a 1910 brick warehouse. Whiskey, Brandy, Rum, Absinthe, and a growing shelf of seasonal releases. Taste at the bar, take a bottle home, or enjoy some craft cocktails.
Petaluma Cheese Shop
A cheese lover’s dream: this cheese tasting lounge is a working cheese counter stocked with everything cheesy and good — California farmstead, European classics, and a rotating cast of things worth trying. Pair your cheese tasting with wine from Barber Cellars, enjoy all the other melty menu items, or take home your favorite new local cheese discovery! This shop is built for people who want to ask questions before they buy.
NIGHTCAP Dessert Bar
The sweet ending you didn't plan but won't regret. Handmade desserts paired with craft cocktails, served late enough to close out the evening properly. Passionfruit chocolate cake, Manhattan truffles, cheesecake, and so much more — all sourced from the best bakers and patisseries of Sonoma County. Pair any dessert with a cocktail from Barber Lee!

Why Petaluma?
Petaluma sits an hour north of San Francisco, at the quiet edge of wine country — close enough to be easy, far enough to feel like somewhere. It's a town built on agriculture and still living by it: dairies, vineyards, ranches, and the makers who turn what grows here into something worth sitting down for. We've been part of this community for a long time, and Taste Petaluma is our way of pointing at what we love about it.
